Description
From the historic “La Cardinala” estate in Romagna comes Cardinala Nuova, an elegant and warm expression of Sangiovese Superiore. This wine embodies the roots of its terroir and the inventive spirit of the Branchini family.
It unites tradition with emotion: lively, structured, with melodic freshness and harmonic depth reminiscent of Scarlatti’s harpsichord sonatas. Cardinala Nuova is the emblem of friendship, warmth, and intensity.
Vinification & Aging
Harvest takes place in the last week of September, at full grape ripeness. After maceration for 7–10 days at 25°C, pressing and racking follow. The wine then matures for 10 months in large oak barrels, followed by 10 months of bottle aging before release.
