Albino Piona – “130” Classic Method
✨ A limited-edition cuvée (2,930 bottles) created to celebrate the 130th harvest of Albino Piona.
Introduction
“130” is a Classic Method sparkling wine, produced in a limited edition of 2,930 bottles to mark the one hundred and thirtieth harvest of Albino Piona.
Producer’s Advice
Savour it in its entirety, to experience the emotion of a great Classic Method, born of craftsmanship and history. Excellent with caviar, oysters, and raw red scampi.
Vinification
Careful grape selection, destemming, crushing, and soft pressing in the style of white winemaking. The must is cleaned and undergoes alcoholic fermentation at controlled temperature with refinement on fine lees. A second fermentation in the bottle follows, with an exceptional 130 months (11 years) of ageing on the lees, stacked horizontally under cork. Manual remuage on pupitres precedes hand disgorgement, with topping up using the same wine and no dosage.
