Arguzia | Coda di Volpe Sannio DOP
A refined white wine from Solopaca, elegant, mineral, and full of character.
About the wine
Arguzia is an authentic expression of Coda di Volpe, an indigenous grape from Campania whose name (“fox tail”) refers to the shape of the bunches. The vineyards are located in Solopaca and nearby areas at 200 meters altitude, planted on sandy soils with medium skeleton, with vines averaging 12 years old.
After careful vineyard selection, the grapes are harvested by hand, undergo a short cryomaceration, and are softly pressed. Fermentation takes place at low temperature for about 20 days, followed by a few months of refinement in stainless steel.
