About the wine

Telesinum is made from Barbera grapes grown near the ancient city of Telesia. After hand-harvesting, grapes are destemmed and softly pressed. The wine undergoes skin maceration with daily pump-overs for about 20 days, followed by controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks. Aging continues in the bottle.

• Color: intense ruby red with violet hues

• Nose: fruity and floral aromas with notes of black mulberry, rose, and clove

• Palate: aromatic, soft, and harmonious

Pairs well with hearty first courses, grilled meats, and well-aged hard cheeses.

Curiosity

The Camaiola grape was traditionally cultivated in the fertile plains of Telesia. In this Roman city of Samnite origin, located in the heart of the Valle Telesina, Telesinum was produced. The wine embodies the deep connection between the territory, its wines, and its history.
