Bardolino Montebaldo DOC 2023 | Tenuta la Presa
A refined and characterful red wine from the hills of Montebaldo.
Description
The Bardolino Montebaldo DOC 2023 is crafted in Caprino Veronese, a historic wine region east of Lake Garda. The blend consists of Corvina (70%), Rondinella (20%), and small percentages of Molinara and Sangiovese.
Harvested in mid-September, the grapes undergo cold maceration below 10°C for 5–6 days, followed by fermentation at around 23°C with frequent pump-overs. Ageing lasts 1 year, with 90% in concrete tanks and 10% in oak barrels, enhancing the wine’s depth and complexity.
