A modern red wine from Veneto
Saniar Rosso is an expressive red wine from Veneto that demonstrates how approachable and characterful Italian wine can be. It is made from carefully selected grapes that remain slightly longer on the vine, allowing them to achieve a gentle level of overripeness and develop greater concentration and aromatic intensity.
The result is a wine bursting with fruit, supported by a smooth texture and refreshing freshness. A wine that feels perfectly at home on the dining table, yet is equally enjoyable on its own.
Saniar Rosso IGP Veneto | Paladin
Fruity, smooth and irresistibly drinkable: a red wine that always invites another glass.
Type: Red Wine
Classification: Veneto IGP Rosso
Origin & Vineyard
The grapes are sourced from Veneto, one of Italy's most diverse and renowned wine regions. For Saniar Rosso, the grapes are harvested slightly later than usual, allowing a modest degree of overripeness to develop. This enhances concentration, aroma and flavour while preserving the wine's freshness and balance.
Vinification & Ageing
After harvest, the grapes are fermented at a controlled temperature of approximately 25°C (77°F). Maceration lasts around 15 days, allowing optimal extraction of colour, aromas and structure.
The wine is then matured in stainless steel tanks, where prolonged contact with the fine lees adds texture, softness and complexity. This process helps refine the tannins and contributes to the wine's smooth and elegant character.
Tasting Notes
Colour: Deep ruby red with garnet highlights.
Nose: Rich and inviting, with aromas of blueberries, raspberries, black cherries and ripe red fruit.
Palate: Fruity, fresh and harmonious, with soft tannins and excellent drinkability. A balanced wine in which fruit and elegance take centre stage.
Food Pairing
Thanks to its versatility, Saniar Rosso pairs beautifully with a wide variety of dishes. It is particularly enjoyable with grilled meats, barbecued dishes, roasted meats, charcuterie and medium-aged cheeses.
Served slightly chilled, it also shines during summer barbecues or informal gatherings with friends. After dinner, it is equally enjoyable as a wine to savour on its own.
Serving Temperature: 14–16 °C
What Makes This Wine Special
Saniar Rosso combines the best of two worlds: the vibrant fruit character of a young Italian red wine and the smoothness achieved through careful ageing on fine lees. The result is a wine that is approachable without being simple, appealing to both wine enthusiasts and casual drinkers alike.
A wine for every table, every season and almost every occasion.
