Custoza Superiore DOC 2024
An elegant and full-bodied white wine from the hills around Lake Garda.
Description
The Custoza Superiore DOC 2024 originates from the vineyards of Valeggio sul Mincio and Castelnuovo del Garda, an area renowned for its unique local varieties. The blend includes Bianca Fernanda (14%), a local Cortese clone, along with Pinot Bianco (8%), Trebbiano Toscano (20%) and Trebbianello (13%), a local biotype of Tai Friulano.
Harvest takes place from early September to early October. After gentle pressing, fermentation occurs at 14°C for about 20 days, followed by 6 months ageing on the lees in stainless steel tanks. This process adds body and elegance to the wine.
