Napoleone Rosso Veronese IGT 2019
A powerful and refined red wine, where tradition meets long ageing for a wine of great elegance.
Description
The Napoleone Rosso Veronese IGT 2019 is a blend of 60% Corvina, 20% Cabernet, and 20% Merlot, harvested in early September from the hills of Caprino Veronese.
After harvest, the grapes are dried for 2–3 months in small 6 kg crates, concentrating flavours and aromas. They undergo cold maceration below 10°C for 5–6 days, with daily pumping-over, before the temperature rises naturally to 23°C and fermentation begins. The process is completed in stainless steel tanks under temperature control.
Ageing follows for a minimum of 30 months in oak casks and barriques of different sizes and origins (Slavonia, France, and North America), adding structure and complexity.
