The story of Branchini began in 1858, when the family left Siena and settled in Toscanella di Dozza, in the heart of Emilia-Romagna. Here, fertile soils and a favorable climate laid the foundation for a winemaking tradition that has been passed down through generations for over 160 years.

Branchini’s strength lies in its deep connection to the land. The three rivers that flow around the estate — Sillaro, Sellustra, and Sabbioso — shape the geology of the soil, rich in sand, clay, and silt. This unique terroir gives the wines their distinctive character and even inspired the winery’s emblem.

Every bottle of Branchini is crafted exclusively from estate-grown grapes, vinified in-house with great care for balance and respect for nature. Ancient know-how is combined with modern technology to highlight the natural qualities of the fruit and the subtle nuances of the terroir.
