Cantina di Solopaca

Cantina di Solopaca was founded in 1966, when 25 winegrowers joined forces to protect and enhance the viticultural heritage of their land. What began as a bold vision has grown into one of Campania’s oldest and most important cooperatives, producing over 120,000 hectoliters of wine each year and sustaining the local economy.

The hills of Solopaca, at the foot of the Taburno Camposauro Regional Park, have always been devoted to viticulture. Grapes such as Falanghina, Aglianico, Greco, and Fiano thrive here, alongside rediscovered native varieties like Coda di Volpe and Barbera. In 1974, Solopaca wines became the first in the Sannio area to earn D.O.C. status, a recognition of their quality and tradition.

Today, the cooperative unites hundreds of growers and 1,300 hectares of vineyards across 16 municipalities. With a balance of time-honored methods and modern winemaking technology, Cantina di Solopaca offers a wide range of wines — from powerful Aglianico and lively Falanghina to the noble Solopaca DOC Spumante.

Every bottle reflects the heritage of this historic land: wines with soul and character, rooted in tradition and crafted for enjoyment both in Italy and abroad.
