About the wine

Carrese is made from 100% Aglianico, selected from carefully chosen hill vineyards. Grapes are hand-harvested, partially crushed, and fermented at controlled temperature in steel tanks, with a maceration of around 21 days. The wine then ages 24 months in Slavonian oak barrels and tonneaux before bottling for further maturation.

Tasting notes

• Color: deep ruby red

• Nose: complex, with aromas of ripe red fruit, jam, and spices

• Palate: full-bodied, complex, pleasantly tannic, with good persistence
