In the Vineyard

Castello Bonomi’s 29 hectares of vineyards form a small paradise in southern Franciacorta. The 2020 vintage progressed steadily, with regular budding. June and July’s moderate temperatures allowed harvesting at perfect ripeness, promising high-quality grapes.

In the Cellar

After a brief maceration on the skins to extract color, the must ferments in temperature-controlled stainless steel. The wine ages for 7 months, followed by tirage (bottling for the second fermentation). Made from 100% Pinot Noir, it matures for about 36 months on the lees.

Tasting Notes

• Colour: Bright pink with a delicate hue

• Nose: Fresh red fruit – currant, raspberry, pomegranate

• Palate: Balanced, fragrant, and structured, with a crisp acidity ensuring excellent drinkability; capable of aging well

Perfect with seafood pasta, shellfish, and light dishes like stuffed vegetables. Ideal for simple yet flavorful meals.
