Special features:
The Gerbidoni and Lurghe vineyards are planted on volcanic soils with porphyry, syenite, and quartz, among the most acidic soils in Italy. Manual harvest and strict grape selection ensure exceptional quality. Minimum 36 months aging in French and Slavonian oak barrels, followed by at least 6 months in bottle.
Colour: ruby red with orange highlights
Nose: fine and elegant, with notes of violets
Palate: dry, harmonious, with a characteristic slightly bitter finish
Serving temperature: 16–17°C, large wine glass, a few minutes after opening
