A rich and characterful Nebbiolo from Alto Piemonte
The grapes for Ramale come from the hills of Ghemme, outside the D.O.C.G. zone, yet receive the same care and attention as the finest cru’s of Torraccia del Piantavigna. With long ageing of at least 24 months in oak barrels, this wine develops pronounced character and complexity.

Origin & Vineyard
The grapes come from approximately 3 hectares of our Poncioni vineyard, within the D.O.C. area of Ghemme. The soil is fluvio-alluvial clay with acidic character. Sustainable viticulture is practiced with minimal chemical input, and the vines are trained using the Guyot system.
Vinification & Ageing
The grapes are hand-picked in small crates. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks with temperature control, followed by malolactic fermentation. The wine is aged at least 2 years in medium-sized French oak barrels, followed by at least 4 months of bottle ageing.

Nose: Ripe red fruit, violets, spicy notes, and a hint of licorice.

Palate: Fruity aromas blend with soft tannins and balanced acidity. Full-bodied and elegant, with harmonious structure.
Food Pairing
Perfect with red meats, aged cheeses, and cured meats. Exceptional with the region’s traditional risotto.
Serving Temperature: 16–17 °C, in large wine glasses, ideally poured a few minutes after opening.
